I LOVE this stroller!
This stroller is easy to use and maneuver. It turns on a dime, weighs 17 lbs and folds easily and flat!
As you can see we have the green version. Honestly, gliding this stroller along makes me feel a little bit like a star. It’s really cute, and I never have to worry about how to get around corners or trying to back into pesky elevators. Given that my little one doesn’t really like to be in his car seat, I end up carrying him some of the way and I can push this around with one hand pretty easy.
The canopy is gignormous, as you can see in the photo below. This really helps as we have only used this with the car seat adapter so far.
We opted to add the Parent Console to this. I went back and forth a ton of times about buying the knockoff console. I am so happy that I did not. This fits perfectly, and folds down nicely when the stroller is folded. The console has an insulated pocket and a smaller pocket that both have Velcro covers and 1 cup holder. I wish it had 2, one for me and my husband, but I plan on using the smaller pocket to hold additional drinks if we need.
The car seat adapter was well worth the money. We have taken our little guy so many places in this. Once the bars are set in, you just pop the car seat on top and secure with a 1 click strap. In some of the store reviews I read for this, people were annoyed by the strap. I had no problems with this.I only took an extra half second to do, and made it so much more secure.
An additional feature that I’m sure BJ didn’t plan on, is the changing table function…lol. With the back set to the lying down position it makes a great changing table in a pinch. The first time we attempted this was at an amusement park in August. The bathrooms were ridiculously hot, and my little guy was covered in sweat the one time I used it to change him. Figuring this out has been awesome!
**Please note there is a recall on the restraint buckle**
Some updated photos of the Baby Jogger City Mini with the car seat adapter.
And one of the stroller folded up with the car seat adapter on.
Update: Our little guy is now 1 year old and I can still say this stroller is awesome! I have no urge to buy another, no joggers (but I don’t run) and no umbrella strollers. It’s a great purchase.
